A Few Words About Our Centre

At Askea Childcare Centre we cater for children from age 1 to 12/13 years. We offer a range of childcare services including full day care, part-time care, sessional (including the free pre-school year), breakfast club with drop off to Askea boys and girls schools and an afterschool Club (with collection from both schools).

Our opening hours are 7:30am – 6pm Monday to Thursday and 7:30am – 5pm on Friday. We are open throughout the year with the exception of bank holidays and a week at Christmas and Easter.

In 2014 Askea Community Childcare engaged in the Síolta Quality Awareness Process (QAP). This involved an external assessment of our practice against the National Síolta Standards and Components of Quality. Final validation involved the submission of a completed portfolio and settings are rated from 1-4 (4 being the highest). We were delighted to be validated at a Level 4.
